However, in the event that you need to return an item, please review our Return and Refund Policy below. This policy applies to all purchases made from our platform, where products are bought from the UAE and sold in Sri Lanka.

How to Return a Product

  1. Sign In to Your BuyEasy Account: Log into your BuyEasy account and go to the “My Orders” section.
  2. Select the Order: Click on the “View All” link under “My Orders” to view all your recent purchases.
  3. Initiate Return Request: Select the item you wish to return and click on the “Return” button.
  4. Fill Out Return Request: Complete the “Return Request” form by choosing the reason for your return and clearly describing the issue in the comments box. You will also need to select your preferred shipment method for return (either “Pick Up” or “Drop Off”).
  5. Refund Method: Click “Edit Refund Method” to select your preferred refund option. Read and agree to the Return & Refund Policy and click “Submit” to generate the Return Label.
  6. Prepare the Package for Return:
    • Securely pack the product in its original, undamaged packaging along with all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, freebies, and any other items that came with the product.
    • Print and attach the generated Return Label on the return package. Alternatively, you can manually write the Return Tracking and Order Numbers on a paper and paste it on the package.
  7. Shipping the Return: Depending on your selected shipment method, either drop off the package at the nearest return point or wait for the pick-up service to collect the parcel.

Conditions for Returns

To ensure a smooth return process, please note the following conditions:

  • Condition of the Product: The product must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and free from any damages. If it is a fashion item, it may be tried on to ensure proper fit, but must remain unworn.
  • Original Tags and Packaging: The product must include the original tags, user manual, warranty cards, accessories, and any freebies that were delivered with it.
  • Packaging Integrity: The product must be returned in its original, undamaged manufacturer packaging or box. If a secondary layer of packaging was used (such as BuyEasy packaging), it must also be returned in the same condition. Do not place tap or stickers directly on the manufacturer’s box.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns for the following valid reasons:

  1. Damaged or Defective Items: If the product is physically damaged (broken or destroyed) or defective (e.g., unable to switch on or use), you can request a return.
  2. Incomplete Deliveries: If the product is missing accessories, components, or any items that were part of the original order, it is eligible for return.
  3. Incorrect Product Delivered: If the wrong product, size, color, or model was delivered, or if the item is counterfeit or expired, a return request is accepted.
  4. Mismatch with Product Description: If the product does not match its description or picture on the BuyEasy website, you can return it.
  5. Wrong Size or Fit: If the product does not fit (e.g., size issues), you can request a return. (Note: Please ensure you check sizing details carefully before purchasing.)

Returns for Non-Valid Reasons

We do not accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Change of Mind: Products that are returned simply because of a change of mind (unless otherwise specified for certain categories) will not be eligible for return.
  • Groceries & Digital Goods: These items are excluded from our return policy, as they are not eligible for return or refund.

Return Period

  1. Return requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date of delivery for all products, including both BuyEasy and third-party seller items.
  2. For products with specific warranties (e.g., electronics), please check if the item is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty for issues that arise after the return period.

Refund Process

Once your return request is approved and the product is received, BuyEasy will process your refund. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please note that the processing time may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.

Warranty Claims for Electronics and Appliances

For electronics, mobile phones, and appliances, if there is an issue after use or outside the return window, please check if the product is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Excluded Categories

  1. Groceries & Digital Goods: These products cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or damaged.
  2. Custom/Personalized Products: Products that are personalized or custom-made cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective upon receipt.

Issuance of Refunds

If your returned product is eligible for a refund, we will process your refund based on the method of payment you used when placing your order. Refunds will include the cost of the returned product, as well as any shipping fees incurred during the purchase. Important Notes
  • Voucher Discount Codes: Please be aware that voucher discount codes can only be applied once per order. Any leftover value from the voucher will not be refunded or applied to future purchases, even if the order value is less than the voucher’s value.
  • Shipping Fee Refund: The shipping fee for the returned product will be refunded along with the cost of the product itself, provided that the return complies with the conditions set out in our Return Policy.
  • Exclusions: This refund policy does not apply to products purchased through Daraz Global, as these products have their own separate return and refund terms.
